How Much Is a Dumpling Squishy? What 107 Prices Actually Look Like
DumpliPop · August 30, 2026 · 4 min read
A dumpling squishy costs between $10 and $114, and the middle of that range sits at about $25. Those are not estimates — they are the actual spread across the 107 designs currently on sale here, and they are a more useful answer than the round numbers most price guides give.
The reason the range is that wide is that "dumpling squishy" covers a 3 cm mini and a 25 cm giant, a single piece and a twelve-piece set. Below is where the money actually goes.
The real distribution
Sorted by what each listing starts at:
- Under $20 — 19 designs. Minis, single small pieces, and the cheapest blind bags. The entry point to the category.
- $20 to $30 — 51 designs. Almost half the catalogue. This is where a regular 8 to 9 cm squishy lives, and it is the band most people buy from.
- $30 to $40 — 15 designs. Larger singles, glitter and holographic finishes, small sets.
- $40 to $60 — 12 designs. Giants, and sets of three to six.
- Over $60 — 10 designs. The large multi-piece display sets and the biggest giants.
The quartiles, if you want the shape rather than the buckets: a quarter of the range is under $22, half is under $25, three quarters under $35.
What you are paying for
Four things move the price, in roughly this order of weight.
- Volume of foam. This is the big one. A 25 cm giant contains many times the material of a 5 cm mini, and slow-rise foam is the expensive part of the object.
- Piece count. A six-piece set costs more than one squishy and less than six. Per piece it is always the cheaper way to buy.
- Finish. Glitter suspended through the foam, holographic surfaces and glow pigment each add a step in manufacturing.
- Rarity. Designs cast once and not repeated carry a premium that has nothing to do with materials.
What does not move the price is the printed face or the bamboo steamer. Every design here arrives in one, including the cheapest.
Why the cheap ones are cheap
If you find a full-size single for a few dollars on a marketplace, the saving has come out of the foam. Low-grade sponge moulds into the same shape, photographs identically, and snaps back the instant you release it — which removes the only feature you were buying. It also creases permanently and yellows within weeks.
This is the one place in the category where price is a reliable signal, because the difference is a material cost that cannot be conjured away. Everything else about a listing can be copied; the foam cannot.
Blind boxes: what the price buys
Twenty-seven of our listings are sold blind, from $12.99 up to $113.99 for the largest sealed sets. You are paying for a draw, not a design, on a published scale — Common 60%, Rare 25%, Epic 12%, Legendary 3%.
Worth being clear-eyed about: buying blind repeatedly to chase a Legendary is more expensive than buying that design outright when it is available. The blind box is worth its price if the unboxing is the thing you want. It is a poor way to acquire a specific squishy.
The cheapest way to get several
Per piece, sets always win. Thirty-three of our listings are multi-piece, and the per-piece price drops as the count rises — a six-piece set is cheaper per squishy than three singles, every time.
The catch is choice: a set is chosen as a set. If you want three specific colors, you will pay single prices for them.
How to spend a fixed budget
- Around $20. One regular 8 to 9 cm squishy, or a mini blind bag. Buy the regular if it is for one person; buy blind if the opening is the gift.
- Around $35. One giant, or a small set. The giant makes the better object; the set makes the better present for more than one child.
- Around $60 and up. A multi-piece display set. This is the best value per squishy in the whole catalogue, and the only sensible way to buy for a group.
Prices here are in US dollars and are what the listing starts at — a design with several variants can cost more than its "from" price. Every product page shows its own.
