Our Products
Straight answers about what these are, what they are not, and the things worth knowing before you buy. Nothing here is a legal formality we would rather you skipped — the first three points in particular are the ones that matter for a toy that looks like food.
They are not edible
They are moulded to look like dumplings and bao, and they are foam. They are decorative squeeze toys. They must never be eaten, bitten, or put in the mouth, and this is the single most important line on this page because the resemblance is the entire design.
Ages 3 and over
Every design in the range is rated for ages 3 and up — the whole catalogue, not a subset. They contain small parts and are a choking hazard for younger children. Keep them away from babies and from pets, and supervise young children at play. Multi-piece sets and blind bags contain several small items and deserve more attention on this point, not less.
We are an independent shop
DumpliPop is an independent business. Our products are not licensed by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any other toy, plush, character, film, show or franchise brand, and we do not claim to be the official, original, or only maker of dumpling-shaped squishies. Similar products exist from other sellers. These are the ones we have chosen and put our name to.
Any third-party brand name or trademark that appears on this site — in a customer review, or in a comparison — remains the property of its owner and is used only to describe or compare. Its appearance implies no partnership or endorsement.
What they are made of
Slow-rise thermoplastic rubber, with PP and PU in the mix; a few designs carry a plush outer over the same core. That formulation is what makes the toy take a few seconds to return to shape instead of snapping back, and it is the whole reason to buy one rather than a generic squeeze toy.
Every product page lists its own material and its own measurement in centimetres. We do not describe a size as "large" — the range spans 3 cm to 25 cm, and those two objects have almost nothing in common beyond the shape.
Mystery boxes and odds
Sealed products are sold by rarity, on one published scale used across the range: Common 60%, Rare 25%, Epic 12%, Legendary 3%. You are buying the draw, not the design.
Two things we would rather say plainly than let you discover: duplicates are possible and are the format working as intended, and at 3% a Legendary takes around twenty-three boxes to reach even odds. If there is a specific design you want, buying it outright is cheaper and certain. Blind boxes are worth their price when the unboxing is what you are buying.
Buying for someone else
Two rules save most of the disappointment. Buy a named design rather than a sealed box if it is for one specific person — a duplicate or an unwanted color lands badly when it was the whole present. And if you do not know their taste, a gift card lets them choose; it arrives by email, so it works when the present is needed today.
Color, and what a photo can promise
Product photography is lit, and screens differ. Colors are shown as accurately as we can manage, and small variation between the photo and the object is normal — as is slight variation between two units of a hand-finished design. Glitter and fade finishes are cast through the foam, so no two pieces distribute identically.
How long one lasts
Kept out of direct sunlight and wiped rather than washed, slow-rise foam holds its rise for years. Heat is what ends it: a squishy left on a sunny windowsill or in a hot car yellows and stiffens, and that is not reversible. Water is the other one — a damp cloth is fine, submerging it is not.
If a squishy arrives and does not rise properly, that is a fault and not storage. Tell us through the contact form and we will sort it out.
